Ryvalmedia Brisbane on rapid growth trajectory with nine new client wins in second half.

Kris Yule and Mark Power

Ryvalmedia has won nine new clients since launching into the Brisbane market in July this year, signalling positive market growth for the fourth quarter and a buoyant Brisbane market in 2022 and beyond.

The new accounts valued at a combined $7M, include Nomad Coffee Group, RDO Equipment, Norman Australia, and CR Mining, boosting the agency’s portfolio of clients across various business verticals, including automotive, eCommerce, retail, real estate, fin-tech, healthcare, heavy equipment/machinery and agritourism. Ryvalmedia’s scope of work includes a combination of media planning, search, social, SEO, content, performance, and non-digital media.

The rapid growth trajectory has led to an expansion of the team with new hires, including digital talent Milan Narayan, as Digital Director.  Milan is one of Brisbane’s top digital specialists, with past roles as Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at Tiny, and Head of Digital at Adoni Media.

Australian owned and operated Ryvalmedia Brisbane is led by Brisbane natives and joint Managing Partners Mark Power and Kris Yule.  The experienced team has spent a combined 50 years in the industry managing some of Australia’s leading agencies and clients.  In a short period, they have successfully grown the Ryvalmedia brand in Brisbane, driven by clients keen to capitalise on digital opportunities to improve business growth.

The launch of Ryvalmedia in Queensland is a crucial part of the strategic growth plan for the parent company, RyanCap, to invest in growth areas in Australia.  Ryvalmedia combines media, data, and technology with market experience to offer clients a strong independent alternative to legacy global holding groups.

Mark Power commented ‘We are seeing opportunity with clients who need a digital-first approach to their marketing, combined with extensive experience to guide them to execute full-funnel, holistic campaigns’ Kris Yule continues, ‘Clients have responded well to our unique mix of digital expertise and business experience’.

With a population of roughly 3.7 million, Queensland’s southeast is Australia’s fastest-growing area. Brisbane’s population grew by 1.9 percent or 13,000 people during 2019-20, recording the highest growth rate of all capital cities (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2020 data).   The expectation is that the market will continue to be buoyant for the next decade, driven by the 2032 Olympic Games, with investment poured into planned capital works in preparation for the world’s premier sporting event.

The media and advertising sector is poised to see a positive flow-on effect from consumer confidence in Queensland, with companies reinvesting in growth, digitising their businesses, and investing in ad spending to drive business results.
